Well, im sorry to say that the stool didn't function after i put it together. I pushed the lever and the seat went to its highest point snd wouldn't adjust down to the level i needed. Im trying to get advice on it or will try to replace it. Addendum. My brother read somewhere to turn the stool upside down and place it near heat overnight and i did that and apparently the lubricant inside the tube melted because i was able to adjust the seat down to a ht i wanted so now the seat is satisfactory, so i give it 4 stars for good price and looks minus 1 stuar for this glitch.. Great stools, I needed extra tall stools and there were very limited options everywhere! The stools are nice for what you pay… the instructions were awful!! I got one of these in last week to try out for myself. I was hoping it would encourage me to sit with better posture, or at the least with my legs not crossed in a lap. Turns out, I can still sit cross-legged on this and still focus and stay upright. My cat hates that I have this because she can't sit in my lap and block me from completing work or other tasks. She has to resort to laying on top of my puzzles or keyboard. Overall, I love this seat. I haven't ran into an issue where I feel like I'd benefit from a cushion.
