The Galaxy Statement sofa carries the kind of presence that makes a house feel like a home: supple top grain leather, a silhouette that anchors the room, and a comfort that only deepens with time. This is where the best storeys of your week will quietly unfold. What makes this leather special? This sofa is upholstered in 100% top grain leather on every surface, never splits or bonded leather, so what you see and touch is the genuine hide throughout. Its semi-aniline finish keeps the leather luxuriously soft, with a light wax protection that deepens and improves with age. Only the finest cuts make it into production, which is part of why the surface feels so consistently supple. How is this piece constructed? Construction starts with skilled artisans in Mexico, who build this sofa entirely by hand, and only after your order comes in, keeping the process genuinely made-to-order rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf. A solid, hand-crafted wood frame anchors everything, reinforced by expert joinery and a webbing support system built for the long haul. What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive? This sofa's comfort comes from a two-part system: foam-and-feather back cushions for plush softness, and pocket-coil, foam, and feather seat cushions for support that actually lasts. A sinuous coil system beneath the seat adds resilience, so the comfort you feel on day one is still there years later. How should I care for it, and how will it age? This sofa asks very little in terms of upkeep, regular dusting and the occasional dry-cloth wipe will keep it looking great. What it will do on its own is age beautifully: the leather develops a natural patina over time that adds depth and character rather than wear. It's built, and finished, to be part of your home for the long run.

i absolutely love this sofa!. William. PA. Tue Apr 23 2024
