This is a pretty desk for the price, however it took me about five hours to assemble and unfortunately, a critical part of the desktop structure that requires 12 screws, had 4 screw holes that were missing threading and could not finish being assembled. I reached out to the manufacturer directly first who said I needed to reach out to Wayfair. I reached out to Wayfair to report the issue including photos and they said I needed to contact the manufacturer. Meanwhile I’m sitting with my house in shambles with a half assembled desk and no work space while I wait for someone to get back to me and sent the replacement parts so I can complete assembly. Or I can go to a hardware store and spend more money to create screw holes that will allow me to finish assembly. Desk arrived a day early which was nice. Fast shipping! I think it looks larger than it actually is but its still nice enough. Its not real big wood, but that being said I think its a decent desk. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble and the directions lacked a bit in some areas. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out no problem. Some of the items were labeled incorrectly and some not at all so you really had to study the picture to make you had the correct piece. Also if you just make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces youll be ok. As luck would have it I didnt make one single mistake (that never happens!). The spindle that turns the desk is difficult to insert into the side piece. I recommend lubing up with some soap. Works well without issue once all together. Nice feature to have a standing desk.
