My baby boy outgrew his younger kids desk and with his birthday and upcoming graduation we wanted to surprise him with a big boy desk that had a hutch and lights to last him for many years. This was perfect, although the color white made me nervous for him drawing all over (phew we made it through that and hes been very good about it!). The white color actually is stunning and brightens the room. It took my husband and I a few hours to put together as there are many steps. I will be honest, I was disappointed when there was a few parts that came in dirty and damaged but now that thats behind us it turned out to be a good desk. Its pretty tall, classy, modern, and I love all the shelfs. In fact, I am not the only fan in this house of this desk. My oldest 2 boys now are hoping for the same desk! Exactly as described. Be prepared for tons of parts and pieces. 2 large boxes but all parts were there and marked well. 2 people at times 3 to get it together and placed.
