I love this table because it is a little more narrow than the standard dining table, and I love the fact that you can add or take away the leaf that is included! The table is very sturdy and feels very well built. The color is a rich golden hue, so it definitely pulls a little more of an ochre tone, which worked perfectly in my clients space. Mostly, I love that it’s not very wide because in this space we added a second dining area, so the narrowness of this really helped with the floor plan and space planning. I recently received this solid wood dining table and overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Here are a few details from my experience: Shipping & Packaging: The table arrived in one large, heavy box. It was packaged very securely, which I appreciated given the weight of the solid oak. Quality & Aesthetics: The material is excellent. You can feel the quality of the solid wood, and the color is beautiful—true to the online photos. It’s a sturdy, well-made piece of furniture. Assembly Tips: Assembly is mostly just attaching the four legs. However, I encountered two small issues: Manual Error: The included instructions were slightly inaccurate. They showed an external nut setup, but the actual product uses internal screws that thread directly into the legs. Hardware Issue: One of the leg’s internal threadings was a bit worn/damaged, making it difficult to align the screw. It took a lot of patience to get it started correctly—make sure not to force it, or you might cross-thread it. Tools: A simple hex key (Allen wrench) is included and is all you need for the job. My designer consultant told me to buy an oval table for my space which I was reluctant to do at first. With the leaf in, it's perfect size for 8 chairs. It is an unusual wash out gray color, but since my oak floors are gray, it ended up matching pretty good. It took four off us to lift and carry from garage to dining, but was relatively easy to assemble. It is less wide than my old table but I think it makes for more intimate dinners. The table itself is beautiful and very well-made. The only thing that I have a problem with is when they assemble it.
