We are committed to quality in every step of our manufacturing process. This begins with milling and drying our own hardwoods at our lumberyard facility to ensure that our frames are built to last without warping, twisting, or cracking. From there, the lumber travels to one of our frame shops where the wood is cut, shaped, and assembled into the highest quality frames available. The foam and fibre parts, built with eco-friendly practises and recycled materials are cut to size at one of two nearby foam processing plants. These components are then joined in one manufacturing centre where they are assembled into your piece of furniture. Our fabric, sourced from around the world, selected for its quality, style, and value and stored in our climate-controlled fabric warehouse, is then cut, sewn and applied to create your finished piece of upholstered furniture.

First of all, this sofa is beautiful and great quality! I love the fold-out bed! (5-stars on that). However, in the sofa position, the back and seat are much softer and less firm that I was expecting. I'm short (5 feet tall) and have arthritis in my back and legs, so was hoping for a much firmer sofa that would support me better and comfortably. The problem is that the cushion sinks down in front when I sit on it and lean back, which makes me slide forward. The measurements given in the description for floor to seat and back to front were helpful and very important in my decision. There was some technical information about the firmness, but was not a meaningful description or comparison that was easy for me to understand. I spent a lot of time searching for explanation of the technical info provided, but it was way too complicated. I would have liked more detailed information in "average person" terms about the firmness/softness of the seat and back cushion. I am planning to have the seat and back cushions tufted to firm them up so that I can be comfortable in it. For my purposes, I would not buy this particular sofa again. The Max Pearl queen sleep sofa is a beautiful, smaller scale transitional sleeper sofa that features a pair of contrasting pillows and an accent kidney pillow. It features tapered legs in dark coffee finish with loose reversible seat cushions and inside back cushions that allow you to rotate the cushions to prolong the life of the cores, as well as, the material. The mattress is a 5 inch thick innerspring coil mattress.
