I had been looking for a whole house filter system for a while. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars and was not looking for a water softener. This Ispring is perfect- it comes with a sediment filter and two 5 micron carbon filters. I have not gotten to install it yet because the area I planned to put it is really not wide enough- I’m having to rework my layout. (Also got a spin down filter to use as well). This is LARGE. It is 24” wide WITHOUT fittings on the side, and about 28” tall. Make sure you have the space to mount this (with support directly into studs- it’s heavy even without water in it). With fittings and bringing lines in, you are going to need about 32” in width in order to accommodate everything. It is very well made, and quality is evident. I will update this review once I am able to rework my install and provide feedback on the filtration itself. UPDATE*** I finally got this system installed and I am beyond impressed. It took me a bit to figure out the best way to tie into my water line before my Pex manifold. Finally did this right above the cutoff valve by cutting a section of drywall out and routing Pex in and out of the wall so I could seal it back (haven't done that part yet...) Anyway, this filter system is unbelievable. Our water is awful it smells. It is brown quite often. I couldn't stand to brush my teeth with it. Once I got the filter system installed, all of the issues went away. The water from the sink tastes really good. It is crystal clear with no odor. I cannot recommend this system enough. Absolutely the best thing I have done for my home.

Everything came in packaged securely. A lot bigger parts than I expected! Have not installed because we need a torch and an adjustable wrench. I think I might even hire a professional to install so it’s done right.

This type of items needs a lot more information in it’s description. Initial research on this product left me thinking it wouldn’t be hard to install but I got a few estimates from local plumbers and they all agreed this would not be suitable for my home. It says whole house but fails to mention that on anything larger than a one bath house, it’s going to severely decrease the homes water pressure and not be effective in its filtering. Also, the filters are insanely expensive to replace.

I had an issue with a lot of noise in the pipes after it was installed, and Sean from the support team was amazing to work with in resolving the problem. It turns out that a pressure valve which my plumber had installed a few years ago, was causing the noise. Once the plumber replaced it with a new one the issue was solved. I can't say enough good things about Sean and the support team for how generous and helpful he was.
