I just installed this air conditioner yesterday, and it's better any I've owned before. It cools very well and is quiet, but the fan is spectacular! On the low setting you can feel the air moving across the room. I have owned many window air conditioners in the past and many have brand names i can't pronounce or have never heard of. I am glad to have seen the right size for my situation from LG.
