This plush, soft pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!

These pillows are the bees knees. I have bought so many pillows over the years, expensive pillows, cheap pillows, online pillows, in store pillows, and ALL those pillows have failed me miserably. However, I noticed that when I go to a hotel, those pillows don't give me neck and head pain when I wake up. I just received them, gave them 2 days to decompress (from vacuum packing), and slept on them for the first time last night. NO NECK, SHOULDER, NOR HEAD PAIN AT ALL! It's truly the simple things. These came as described. They feel soft and you can tell by the aroma that it is definitely real down (people either love that smell or hate it).
