I installed the rods at exactly 48 inches. They feel lightweight but sturdy, and the hanging brackets feel sturdy too. The instructions were a little unclear, and I wasn’t sure what the extra screws were for, but I was able to install them. If you have the space, I’d recommend choosing a larger size for more support in the middle. I don’t plan to pack mine tightly; I’ll use them for my seasonal and most-worn clothes.. Kahrla_g. Ig. This was very easy to install and exactly what I was looking for. I had a issue with light creeping through the gap of the wall and drapery before, but the problem has been solved with the sleek design of this drapery rod. The return at the ends allows for your drapery curve back towards the wall removing light creep at the edges. The double rod is also very helpful at providing the option of what kind of lighting I want throughout the day. During beautiful days I have everything open, when I want light but a bit of privacy I close the inner layer that has sheer drapery and when I want to sleep in I close my outer layer of blackout drapery. Well worth the price point.. Anonymous. Sun Oct 18 2026
