Referred to as synthetic down. This pillow is comfortable, yet hypo-allergenic and completely washable. Unlike feather, foam, and polyester, these pillows, duvets, and featherbeds remain fluffy and resilient even after repeated wash cycles. One renowned hotel chain recently laundered a pillow from this manufacturer 25 times, only to recognize a subtle change in its properties.

perfect in the grandgirls room. Cindy. Garden City, MI. Mon Jan 01 2018

This plush, soft pillow is made with microfiber fill, a high quality polyester designed to mimic the properties of down. Microfiber traps less air than down and is a tad denser, so it does provide a bit more support than natural down. One benefit of a synthetic pillow is that it can be machine washed at home, given your machine is quite large and you wash/dry on a low heat setting. Natural down and feather are sensitive to moisture, but polyester is not!
