I LOVE these shelves. They’re sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight, and they look rustic and rich. The wood has the perfect amount of imperfection with a couple dips and knots. Sturdy brackets that I trust will hold. While the color of the wood is as expected, the texture of the wood is rough and I worry will make dusting impossible. Another reason for the star drop is that two of the screw heads snapped on install. Although it’s not recommended to place it above a bed, I needed a shelf that wasn’t too heavy to install above my dresser and hold my projector. Really great set of shelves - I love the aesthetic with the metal pipes and the wood used is extremely solid and feels very high quality. My one gripe with this is that the pipes that screw into the wall mounts dont align, so each of the pipes have a noticeable slant that requires extra effort to make sure the shelf sits flat on them..
