I had previously bought some plastic ones that were pretty but very flimsy. We have very rocky ground and about half of the other ones broke as I tried to push them into the ground. These had a shape point and were sturdier. They work well and look beautiful. We used them to line the driveway and front door. They emit a Starburst type light. The points can be removed from the posts so hypothetically you could remove them and now the lawn and then place the posts back on. They are still fairly new and I was too lazy to try it yet, but it seems possible if you cut your grass at a higher setting. They have a bright white light instead of the warm white. They were easy to put together, and not too difficult to put in our rocky ground. I suggest using a thick glove or something if your ground is hard too, it will help you from embedding the circle of the pole into your hand.. Julia. New York, NY. Tue Jun 17 2025
