This replaced some yucky black inserts surrounded by popcorn ceilings. I removed the popcorn and painted the ceiling flat white. So I had to replace these light inserts because they now stuck out like sore thumbs. Easy to install, I just used the hooks that were on the original ones and it was perfect.. Zinfl. FL. The surface baffles on the reflector offer a classic look and break-up the lamp reflection producing a more comfortable light. The integrated coil springs force trim to fit snugly against the ceiling, providing a secure trim installation and minimizing air leak. UL-CUL damp location rating makes this trim ideal for use in a variety of room settings in conjunction with 6 in. sloped ceiling new construction or remodel recessed housing.
