When he designed the Mirasole gold chandelier, Tom Caldwell was feeling nostalgic, remembering the décor of ice cream parlours that were staples at one time in America. The Vichy chandelier was created by Suzanne Duin, who founded the Houston shop and design studio Maison Maison and is known for a keen eye for sourcing authentic French antiques and home accessories from around the globe. Each piece in her line of woven light fixtures is handmade by artisans in Southeast Asia, the Vichy an example in abaca rope and wrought iron in a mix of contemporary gold leaf and contemporary gold finishes. The finely shaped braided edges reflect Parisian style and the overall composition will bring both texture and French flair.

When Clarence Mallari designed the Calliope chandelier, he was inspired by leaves on the bamboo plant. Though the stem and fronds of this tan chandelier read as if they are made of natural material, they are fashioned from wrought iron in a mix of coco cream and ivory finishes that are hand-applied by artisans. The flowing arrangement of the fronds is a design detail of note.

With shades made from recycled paper that have been twisted like braided hair, the Monreale chandelier, designed by Clarence Mallari, has a frame made of round tubing that telescopes out from a central cog. The paper is painted white and the wrought iron frame has a vanilla finish that contributes to the lightness of this ivory chandelier. The shades are fitted with acrylic diffusers on the bottoms and there are no transformers because the fixture has integrated LED technology. We also offer the Monreale as a rectangular chandelier.

Scallops of kraft paper twine fold around the wrought iron frame of the Ancroft chandelier to form a delicate flowing silhouette. The string has a white finish that works in concert with the contemporary silver leaf on the metal to keep the white chandelier light and airy. This is enhanced by the fact that it is hung from an aircraft cable, which is adjustable. The integrated LED light flows through a diffuser fitted to the bottom of the shade.
