These are very nice, they even come with the square adapters to put them on different type of poles. They have to be hard wired and when I ordered them I thought they were the ones that are solar operated. You will need to call in an electrician to have them install. I purchased this thinking it was a dusk to dawn solar light that used dusk to dawn bulbs. I had purchased the bulbs separately. Also, this can be in a damp environment but not in direct damp weather, and I need one that can be exposed to weather. It turned out to be one that needs to be hard wired. But the quality of the light was very good especially for the price. So, I will need to return and get one that is actually a solar lamp. I would highly recommend to family and friends.
