This light can stake anywhere outside that gets direct sunlight, the solar panel collects sunlight to charge the battery during the day automatically turns on at dusk for up to 8 hours of nighttime illumination.

I like the way these lights look on my brick fence, they are not powerful at all, but provide a warm accent light, will hold the charge for about 6 hours. They are well made, however during shipping they got scratch (poor packaging), also 2 out of 4 lights I had to open the battery compartment as one of the battery leads came apart, though it was easy to fixreassemble. Dont know how long will they hold (as the sun and weather gets very aggressive) but Im buying another set as I like the design.. Guillermo. Fort Worth, TX. Mon Jul 13 2020
