This is the first time I've left a bad review on a product. I was skeptical of buying this product because of all the bad reviews about the ice retention not lasting but I decided to take the chance since I saw some good reviews. I now regret that choice all the bad reviews are correct the ice retention for this cooler is the worst I've seen, the cooler should not be priced at that price, when the ice retention can't even last a day when it says up to 5 days!?!?!? I took the cooler into the mountains for ONE day hike and when I came back to my car the ice was practically all gone and my car was shaded the whole time! Don't buy.

i have both the 25 qt and the 52 Qt BMX caolers. Their rotomold design allows you upgrade them to the performance level of the much more expensive yeti and Rtic brand coolers. Common to both of those manufacturers , the BMX coolers incorporate a molded lip along the edge on the underside of the lid ,which when closed, fits into a channel that runs along the top of the cooler walls.By adding adhesive backed 1/4 inch rubber weatherstrip "D" ( Inserted into the channel) you increase the ice retention to match that of the Yeti and RTIC product, as that rubber weather stripping is really the only functional element that distinguishes the 3 brands.

Cooler stays cold but the screws holding the hinges backed out and the lid failed. Also, the rubber latch receptacles attached to the body of the cooler tend to lift out of their brackets also causing lid failure. Terrible design actually, but the walls and lid appear to be constructed of materials and functional. BUT, the hardware keeping it all together needs serious improvements.

It is definitely the best cooler I have owned. The only downside is it is a little heavy.

Haven't used it yet. Looks fine. Shipping was abysmal and having to use the Shop app to track Shipping was bizarre.

Seems to be well made. Have yet to try it out but looks to meet our needs.

The cooler is about a year old and only gets used occasionally. The screws for the hinge stripped from the lid. It's a very poor design with only a thin layer of plastic contacting the screws. It's also not a 5 day cooler as advertised in the warm weather of SC.

Fantastic cooler it keeps the frozen things frozen for an 8 hour car trip, love the cooler!

Great cooler. Stays cold as advertised. Perfect for long trips and camping. It is well built.

The cooler is light weight, and the price is good compared to the big expensive brand names. It only keeps ice for a day and a half. I was hoping I could fill it once Saturday AM for the weekend at the beach, but no way it makes it till the end of the day Sunday. But for the cost, it is good.
