There were not many detailed reviews for this when I bought it, so I wanted to provide as much as I can to help shoppers make a decision. This is a great addition to our home at minimal cost (compared to a deck or roof). But this build is not for the faint of heart! Make sure your husband, partner, etc. is mechanically inclined and has a case of beer or favorite whiskey nearby! lol. We took our time and finished this over 3 days. Following the instructions is a must (we learned that the hard way after skipping a step). There are lots of pieces. Best thing to do is lay everything out so you can easily identify the part numbers. (Lay in grass or on top of a tarp so you don’t scratch the paint.) The one thing they don’t account for is securing it to the ground and house. We had to buy all of the masonry screws to install the 4 posts in the concrete patio and 4 brackets on the side of the house. Additional tools are needed for masonry install, like a hammer drill. (Would be a much easier job if installing into wood.) Recommend spending the extra money for the 14’ if you have the space. Our furniture would have been too crowded under the 12’. So far no leaks. Time will tell if it holds up to snow this winter. There are 2 reinforcement posts included that go in the middle of the frame. We will be putting those up in the winter if heavy snow is expected. Otherwise they are not needed in our opinion. My husband says it’s a solid piece….he’s impressed with the quality. Highly recommend.. Ad. Pittsburgh, PA. Mon Jun 03 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sojag canopy parts are well constructed. Very nice finishes on every piece. It would be pretty hard to complete this project without a helper. The assembly can be done in one full day. Became quicker construction when the impact gun was used, however we are used to that tool and knew how to not over tighten. We used a square early on to keep the upright supports square. It should be emphasized in the directions when to final tighten screws. The cross supports which secure the roofing material should NOT be tightened until all screws are installed from above which hold the roofing material down. This helps to line up the bolts through the tubing/cross supports. Packaging was good. Instructions were concise. Labeling on the parts was good.. Nict. Nash. Tue Apr 25 2023

This Gazebo is beautiful and sturdy, but unfortunately it came with some scratches and little dents on the poles. The company should think about better wrapping to protect all the pieces. There was none. Everything was loose inside the box. Wayfair helped solving the situation.. Sabrina. NY. Sat Jun 19 2021

Its modern design and creamy tones will add style to your backyard, while its robust rustproof aluminum structure and galvanized steel roof will make it durable for years to come.

This gazebo is going to look incredible when I get it done. We have had some rain and needing to stain our deck, it has taken some time to get it in. The instructions that come with it our basically pictures which if you are like me, and can't put things together without a good explanation, this might be a challenge for you. The finish product is going to look just like the picture, but it does take a little patience to figure out the instructions. If the instructions were better, this would be 5 star.. Troy. Had to make a little adjustment in order to attach to the house as the 3rd support was in the way of the door (something to consider) Fairly easy to put together with 2 people. The aluminum seems a little thinner than expected - however it appears to be study. Overall happy with the purchase!. Theresa. OH. Sun Jun 30 2024

I found the instructions fairly easy to follow. The parts all seem to fit together fairly well. My only complaint is that there is a cap that runs the full width of the rear of the roof and is difficult (if not impossible) to install when the room is fully constructed. I will be adding my own trim along the back edge of the roof so it doesn't leak. The metal roof is a bit noisy when it rains. All in all my wife and I are happy with our purchase.. Joellen. ON. I really like the look of it, but a couple of the roof panels are slightly dinted from manufacturer because there was no external damage to the boxes. Bought this gazebo last year. Used it for approximately 4-5 months then removed the cloth roof for the winter at which time it seemed to have gotten brittle. Upon reinstalling it on the gazebo, it very easily ripped. We only got 4-5 months use out of the cloth roof and the company would not back this product. They said it was normal after being out in the sun. We have had other gazebos and got 3-5 YEARS out of them before replacing. The frame itself is the best we have ever had. We are extremely frustrated and disappointed with the customer service with regards to the roof.. Gido. NH. Thu Apr 21 2022

Great quality and easy assembly. I am a 58 year old woman, and except for the part requiring two people,I have been putting it together by myself. Taking my time, at my own pace, will be done in a couple of days. All parts are separately wrapped by group, and marked. All screws, caps are well packaged and marked. The instruction book has so far been the best I have ever had to work with. No written instructions, only pictures of the assembly along with the parts number used for that section. Very impressive, good quality, great packaging and timely deliver. I’m thinking of buying another to replace an old pergola. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Sojag gazebo. UPDATE: the gazebo only leaked that first time the day after it was built. I think the roof panels were a bit warped from shipping and straightened out over time. Now it doesn’t leak at all and is exactly what I hoped for. Very disappointed. It was delivered 10 days late and leaks. Easy to put together and looks gorgeous but leaks everywhere when it rains. It is on a flat surface and was installed correctly. I plan on getting rubber gaskets to put the screws in that attach the roof pieces and hopefully that helps.
