Aluminum Litter Scoop

I bought this for my grandmother and this has helped her out a lot!

This is great! I have trouble bending over so cleaning. Cat litter will be easy. I also bought one for my daughter. It is made very well of metal instead of plastic.

No more bending and hurting my back

I'm taller than this scoop allows, so I'm still bending over, but it still means I don't have to get within arm's reach of the litter box (aka within smell's reach), so that fact alone makes it worth it. Took a minute to adjust the way I scoop, but it was definitely a great purchase. As an additional bonus the handle doubles as a way to hang it.

Awkward and difficult to use. Bought a straight, long-handle one that I like better.

Quality material and nice concept for those with issues bending to clean the litterbox. The issue I have is the design is very awkward to use when clumps stick to the sides or bottom, even for someone without back trouble. It doesn't seem to take much to cause an issue with scooping. The handle forces you to swing the scooper like a pendulum with your wrist, and this coupled with the length of the pole makes you lose a significant amount of dexterity and strength to clean it properly. I found myself needing to smack it down into the litterbox to get it up, forcing dirty litter everywhere. Also just to note, the scoop portion is huge. This could be a pro or con for some depending on the size of your litterbox. I ended up switching to something else.

I got it for my mom who has trouble bending to scoop the cat box she likes the stand up scooper but still getting adjusted to using it!!
