I bought this barrel and the diverter kit separately. Works best when you convert the top to a planter . This barrel is sturdy and was compatible with the eco station diverter kit. I bought 2 , and curiously enough one barrel came with 2 brass spigots and the other came with just one plastic spigot … plastic spigot does not look sturdy.. also the spigot cut out is low so you may want to elevate barrel for sufficient pressure, although you could cut your own hole and insert a spigot. Arrived in great condition, simple set up. Seems well made. You don't need to be extremely precise on gutter orientation. We have about a 24" gap from open down spout to the barrel opening. Before we had a chance to correct that it rained and it filled just fine. Ordering a second one to link together using a short length of flexible garden hose with female fittings on both ends. I ordered 2 sizes of rain barrels and stands to match from same company. They changed shade of color somewhere along the line so not everything matched. Manufacturer told me to keep stands or donate which was nice since then I didnt have to package up and send back. Maybe they shouldve changed color name to new color so this wont happen to others. This 50 link kit is your tool for expanding the capacity of your 50 collection system. Though some people are able to buy multiple barrels that hook up to separate downspouts at their home, others may have obstructions that remove that option or make it difficult to work around. That's why manufacture has designed their rain barrels to be linkable. This way when one rain barrel is full, it will overflow into the rain barrel next to it. Setup can be done quickly and just requires a screwdriver for the clamps and a drill with a 1/4''-3/8'' bit.
