This is a fantastic book shelf. Solid, heavy wood construction and a beautiful finish. A few spots have mars in the finish, but they disappear when looking at the shelf from across the room. There were a few scratches that a furniture stick needed to be applied to, but I’m not sure if they happened during manufacture or our construction. The assembly was simple with the instructions provided. The only error in the instructions was regarding the type of screw driver to use. The wall anchor that came with the shelf was very flimsy, so we installed a sturdier more trusting anchor. The shelving unit did have a odor for a week after assembly. I didn’t like the color of the screw caps that were supplied so I have not used them; additionally they didn’t fit firmly in place. The bottom drawers slide in and out smoothly. The ClosetMaid 13” storage bins I bought to use with the shelf were too wide for each opening. When I trimmed a quarter inch of the insert in the bottom of the bin, I could get the bin to snugly fit in the shelf openings. I won’t be accessing what I stored in the bins often, so I’m happy with the ClosetMaid storage bins. I am well pleased with the storage capacity and look of this shelving unit. It looks modern, is designed well, and most important is made from real wood. I do not expect the finish to last unscathed for too long, since the lower shelf is storing my toddler grandson’s toys, we’ll see!. Christinemh. Huntsville, AL. Fri Feb 08 2019

I wanted a mid-century looking case for my vintage stereo equipment and was very pleased with this cabinet! Some of the reviews mentioned the hardware that holds the glass shelves being flimsy & breaking, but I am guessing they have updated the hardware included because mine came with very thick and sturdy L brackets that screw into the wood. My receiver weighs around 20 pounds and so far the tempered glass shelf is holding up just fine. It looks very elegant and well built, although the metal lattice on the back had some rust when it was painted so the paint is flaky in spots but mine doesn't deter from the overall looks at all (it's mostly at the very top and bottom and you really need to look closely to notice). Made of walnut colour manufactured wood and black steel.

This is a very heavy shelving unit with 8 cubby units. It was very difficult to assemble since the only instructions were in Spanish. I was unable to attach the bottom metal legs to the unit as there were no pre-drilled holes. Also, I am not sure the legs could hold up this unit. Photo attached without legs for that reason.. Marie.
