This impression is 90 gals. a plastic rain barrel is a stylish and attractive rain barrel with a planter on top. This rain barrel is constructed from high-quality material that makes it durable for outdoor use. The brown colour and distressed coral finish make it the ideal choice to place in the yard for rainwater harvesting. This rain barrel can contain 90 gallons of water, which is double the size of a standard rainwater barrel. It has a debris screen that blocks external pollutants from entering the barrel. The brass spigot can be assembled in two locations. This rain barrel has a routed channel that diverts the excess rainwater to prevent flooding on your foundation. The most captivating feature is its appearance, which combines the rough texture of a coral reef and a large tree trunk. With a deep-well top, you can plant an array of floral arrangements or even a small herb or vegetable garden. The top also includes an original, integrated overflow channel. This channel automatically diverts all overflow water to the front of the barrel and keeps your foundation from flooding. The large opening, which can be used for 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" downspouts, is covered with a soft, fine mesh plastic screen. This screen keeps out heavy debris and insects for your peace of mind. Also included with the barrel are the two offset spigot locations. Now you can use a 5-gallon bucket or hose simultaneously without issue. Or use the second spigot as an overflow into a second barrel. Who knew you could have so many features in a rain barrel?
I bought two of these last Fall. I'd give it 5 stars, but one of them has a slow leak in the bottom spigot. It's not bad, maybe a few drops a minute. It would take months for it to drain out but I'm hoping it doesn't get worse. The housing that you screw the spigot thread into is plastic or resin, so I have a feeling it doesn't create as strong of a seal. Would've been better if they used a metal housing so you had metal on metal, and then just thread tape between. Brendon. Waltham, MA. Wed Apr 09 2025
