Covered in ash grey canvas-like textured paper over a thick recycled fiberboard core. Includes a distinctive leather pull. Made by hand in Lithuania for Big so Box of Sweden.

The only bad thing I have to say is that the leather strap is not light like the picture it is dark brown. The boxes are great and very sturdy! This is an ideal little file box! Living in a small space, I was looking for a file cabinet to fit beneath a craft table. This is just what I wanted. Very attractive, nicely constructed. (Only one negative point, and it's very minor: Hanging folders don't slide as easily on wood tracks as they would on metal or plastic, but that isn't a problem if you're only filing a few times per month.) The file box rolls out easily from underneath the table when I need to access it. The top is sturdy and can easily support an additional lightweight item. Great value and very practical!. Tracy.
