The Tovolo 10-Inch Spiral Whisk keeps a flat coil of stainless steel pressed against the bottom of the pan as you stir. That constant contact moves sauce across the whole cooking surface, so gravies, roux and cream sauces do not scorch in hot spots or stick in the corners. The angled head works well in shallow pans and follows the curved edges of a saucepan where a round whisk leaves gaps. Each stroke of the spiral covers more surface than straight wire tines. Beyond sauces, it blends vinaigrettes, egg batters and pancake mixes. Sturdy stainless steel resists bending during heavy stirring and is safe in hot pans on the stove. The ergonomic handle stays comfortable through long sessions, and the 10 inch length fits a standard utensil drawer. The whole whisk is dishwasher safe.
I have been looking for this spiral whisk for ever. Brought one from Europe almost thirty years ago. Only whisk I ever use.. Katarzyna,. Aurora, CO. Mon Apr 28 2025
