It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. Bed arrived as described. So far the lighting works. Make sure you download the lotus lantern app makes it easier to change the led colors and setting from the app! Platform bed sits a little low ,frame doesnt seem very sturdy will probly wind up finding something else down the road. For now enjoying pairing the led light with my fireplace lighting! We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand.
