I looked at many futons for my upstairs office to serve as a guest room for family. I had a used one just like this that I really liked, so I went ahead and purchase this brand new one. It's very sturdy and the mattress is spacious and comfortable. It easily accommodates my 6 feet, 3 inch frame. Super simple and quick to put together, also very easy to adjust into a bed or back into a futon. Really pretty color but it’s suede not leather, either way it has a leather aesthetic. This aqua-colored sofa bed is probably the best quality furniture I have acquired out of the roughly ten new pieces I've recently purchased. After reading the comments, we decided to hire the (Wayfair) professional assembly service, which turned out to be totally worth it and the right decision. The wood used is incredibly very solid; this is a simple styl, yet very robust and durable sofa bed. We have bought too much assembly-required furniture online, mostly from overseas brands, that upon close inspection had poorly finished paint or felt light and fragile, as if it could easily break under pressure. I purchased the blue linen version of this sofa. I had trouble deciding how to rate it because there are features I love and hate about it. I have been searching for a small convertible sofa for over a year. The main feature that attracted me to this piece is that it's "convertible". I also wanted blue. It's really difficult to find a coloured sofa in this "neutral" market. Most of the convertible sofas I looked at were massive or awkward to switch back and forth from sofa to bed. I think it has an interesting look to it and I love that it folds down completely flat. People are correct when they say its hard and somewhat uncomfortable. It's more like luxury patio furniture than a proper sofa so keep that in mind if you choose it. I have a twin mattress pad that I put on it for a bit more cushioning and I can still feel the base but my husband says it's fine as is for napping. I love that you can put a mattress pad on it and twin sheets to protect it and use it as a temporary twin bed. There are no arms to get in the way of lying down and spreading out fully.
