I purchased this island to use in my craft room. Like all RTA furniture, it was a process to put together-this is shipped as a flat box shipment; nothing is pre-assembled. The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. Took about 3 hours for me to assemble taking my time. Instructions were good and cart is great construction. Only one hiccup. The back right ez lock for the top wouldn't fit because hole was to shallow. However, since everything else is so well done, it's not going to move at all. If some screws are not lined up just right you can crack the finish around the holes a little but once screw is on and parts are together anything cracked is held in place and covered.. Angela.
