The quality of wood and the couch is very poor. The lifting mechanism and the push to open mechanism is good. Nearly all panels came scratched. Very difficult to assemble. Wayfare support was contacted but the wrong pieces were send and they were scratched too. Not worth the price- avoid. Mark. Montreal. Mon Jun 29 2026

Super comfy and easy to use. Was a bear to set up but was worth it. Not the most comfy couch I would recommend making some cushion additions or adjustments. But you can definitely get a mattress that’s comfortable enough for the bed. Gavin. Sun Apr 12 2026

Nice for the price. Some panels came scratched. It took all day to put together and needed 2 people. The hydrolic was hard to install. Not commentary for instruction's so not the easiest. Couch is a bit cheap. All in all it’s great for what I need it for and priced appropriately.. Jeremy. Third Lake, IL. Fri Jan 02 2026

This Murphy bed features a wooden cabinet design. The natural wood grain and warm tones add a touch of cozy atmosphere to the home environment. The metal handle on the cabinet body, with its golden lustre complementing the wood grain, not only enhances the overall texture but also facilitates daily use. Through the ingenious application of metal hydraulic rods, the bed can easily switch between vertical and horizontal states. This Murphy bed is equipped with two small LED lights on the top. The soft light provides convenience for reading or relaxation, and also adds a warm atmosphere to the entire space. Did take a while to put together, but was able to do it by myself. Got this for a guest bed in the office that only gets used sporadically. For a mattress we are using a Sleep Number C4 bed we just upgraded from in the bedroom. This cabinet was perfect as it had the solid base a Sleep Number requires and the entire bed, mattress pad, pillows, and comforter ALL fit inside the cabinet and drawer. I did have to drill a small hole in the bed base near the head off the bed for the air tube and another in the back board to plug in the air pump, but both are in places not visible with the bed open or closed. We contemplated a traditional Murphy bed, but they seem to need the weight of a mattress to help hold them open? And they lacked storage space for all the other bedding to make up the bed. Since storage space is always in short supply, this bed seemed a better fit for our needs. I only gave 4 stars for some minor gripes. First are the stickers used to cover the cam locks. Wow is that cheesy. Most furniture I have put together using cam locks have a plastic disc that goes into the cam lock hole. However, the only place these are visible are the inside of the headboard when the bed is open. I would have appreciated plastic caps for this area vs the stickers. My only other complaint is about the cam locks themselves. Other furniture I have put together (including the glass door cabinet next to the bed chest in the photo) had a stop so you can't insert the screwdriver too far and potentially run into the cam lock pin when turning the cam lock. I am not sure if this is what kept happening, but I did have a few cam locks where I just could not get them to turn as far as they should have. Will call this one user error, but with a properly designed cam lock this isn't an issue. Like I said, pretty minor, and overall very pleased with the bed for what we needed. It is also really easy to open and set up as I had to do that half a dozen times or so figuring out how to get the Sleep Number air pump connected and the holes drilled.. Cheran. Lakeview, OR. I'm extremely disappointed in this purchase. For the price point, it's a very low quality product that wayfair should remove from their website. The return policy makes it impossible to return such a large item without incurring a huge cost in time and return freight. I ended up having to modify the frame with additional wood to make it feel safe to open and close the bed without a lot of flexing and torsion of the frame. I recommend wayfair remove this bed from their website. This was an awful experience for me that I hope no one else will have to go through.. Donald. Houston, TX. Sun May 25 2025

The twin bookcase ends are very functional. Negatives Careful of your shins as the foot supports, though easy to use, protrude. Wish the two LED lights were brighter and came with a dimmer.
