It is a very nice chicken coop. It is well made and easy to assemble. The color shown is the color of the actual product. It is very cute and looks great. It is easy to move around and I didn't have a concern that anything would be able to get in with my chickens and kill them. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that it is a very, very small coop. I moved and only had one chicken left. I wanted to take her with me because she is 11 years old and my new farm didn't have any kind of chicken coop area. I purchased this thinking it would be a great place for her live out her life. However, it is extremely small. I couldn't stand to see her in such a small area. I think it might be a great area for a couple of bunnies or if you need a place to put small chicks before you integrate them into an adult flock of chickens. I wish it was bigger because it is nicely constructed, easy to assemble and the colors worked for my farm. I will now just resell on Marketplace as I already have it all assembled and didn't want to try and repackage to send back. Simple to assemble. Lots of big pieces. Took less than an hour with me and 2 children. They handed me screws and held boards in place. Seems like good quality and has a metal roof. Two things I didn’t like was no ramp inside the coop and no perch’s for sleeping at night. I can rig something up but that defeats the purpose of buying pre fabricated. A few weeks later the hardware is staring to come loose on the doors and I’ve needed to replace the locking mechanisms. Very cute. I've got mine set up as a chicken run. It's inside a chain link fence. It's stable, but not necessarily heavy duty (I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my chickens overnight in it, even also inside the chain link fence. At 5'1, I can stand straight up inside it with plenry of room to spare. And I easily drag it all over my yard by myself which is convenient. Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up..
