It hasnt really been that hot in Michigan yet. I purchased this air conditioner in May. Fast forward to June and the temperature is over 90°, this air conditioner just did not perform as I had hoped. Being able to schedule the unit to turn on has been a game changer. I like the night mode, especially since the screen turns off and it slowly tapers off how cool it is. It did startle us the first night because it makes a bit of a noise compared to a larger unit we have when on auto mode. The louver or where the air discharges moves up and down if you'd like and being able to have it close when the unit is off is nice.
